These terms govern your use of relatepda.com and any products or services offered through it. By using the site or purchasing our products, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We know that sounds blunt, but it's the standard legal framing and it's important.
This site is operated by BSPUTAH, LLC. When we say "we," "us," or "our," that's who we mean.
Through this site we sell books (including the RELATE Foundational Training Manual and "It's Not Defiance" parent book), offer live training services, provide clinical consultation, and publish educational content about Pathological Demand Avoidance and the RELATE framework. The site also includes a blog and a contact form.
This is an important one. The RELATE framework, the ADAPT protocol, the RELATE Assessment instruments, all manual content, blog posts, and training materials published on this site are the intellectual property of BSPUTAH, LLC. All rights reserved.
When you purchase a book, you're purchasing a single copy for your personal or professional use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, scan, upload, or resell the book or any portion of it. You may not photograph or digitize pages for distribution through any channel.
If you'd like to use RELATE materials in a way not covered by a standard purchase (training programs, academic coursework, bulk orders for an organization), contact us at info@relatepda.com to discuss licensing.
You agree not to use this site or its content in ways that violate any applicable law, infringe on our intellectual property or anyone else's, misrepresent your affiliation with BSPUTAH, LLC or the RELATE framework, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site.
You also agree not to represent yourself as RELATE-certified or RELATE-trained unless you have completed a training program we've formally designated as conferring that status. Purchasing the manual alone does not constitute certification.
Book purchases are fulfilled through Amazon. Refunds and returns for book orders are subject to Amazon's return policy. If you receive a damaged or defective copy, contact us at info@relatepda.com and we'll help resolve it.
Consultation sessions are non-refundable once completed. Cancellation and rescheduling are handled through Calendly's booking system.
Live training engagements are governed by the specific agreement made at the time of booking. Cancellation terms are communicated during the proposal process.
We work hard to make sure everything on this site is accurate, current, and useful. But we provide the site and its content "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the site will be available at all times, that the content is free of errors, or that the information will be suitable for your specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BSPUTAH, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, its content, or any products or services purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or our products will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service at issue.
The site may contain links to third-party websites (Amazon, Formspree, etc.). We're not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the courts of the State of Utah.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
